Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer
So a group of 12 friends, all who have never rowed before, braved the elements and successfully rowed the Irish Sea, from Arklow to Abersoch. It entailed a continuous row for approximately 80 miles (which took us 20 hours) in a four person Celtic Longboat. This is a fixed seat single oar boat, making the challenge a real test of endurance.
We aimed to raise £50,000 for Prostate Cancer UK which we have currently exceeded thanks to everyone's amazing generosity.
